van den Berg SERIES-6

The 6-series range of vdB microphone boom poles integrates the most advanced technologies in carbon fibre manufacturing to increase their strength and stiffness. Not only more rigid, vdB have also improved on the lightness that has made them famous.

This design, in 6 sections, offers a substantially increased extended length from a short collapsed length. The size range is greater than is available from any other manufacturer and at a reasonable price.

An optional fixed length section is available (VDB EXT) which fits all poles to serve as an extension providing an extra 110cm reach.

All poles are designed to allow immediate fitting of an optional curly XLR3 cable kit.

These cables come with Neutrik XLR’s fitted to a low noise curly cable with a modified XLR heel on the base. Stereo versions are available to special order.

Another option is the popular rubber heel (Order code: VDB 6-103) fitted as standard on the VDB 806 and VDB 1106 poles.

A quick release top screw is common to all Series-6 models.

K&M Lightweight Alloy Boompoles

A choice of two, lightweight aluminium alloy boompoles by K&M, used for remote positioning of microphones for location recording and broadcasting, is available from LTF. Both feature black, rough textured hand-grips, dull grey anodised extending sections and secure locking rings. A handy carrying case is included.

The KM23750 is a 3-section (including handle) boompole with a length range from 0.64m fully closed to 1.60m fully extended. It weighs approx 370gms without case.

The KM23760 is the same as the KM23750 above, but with 4 sections (including handle) and a length range from 0.94m fully closed to 3.2m fully extended. It weighs approx. 780gms without case.
