Sound Devices products are assembled in Reedsburg, WI USA, in a defined, repeatable process. 442 The Sound Devices 442 is their take on the "standard" 4 into 2 over the shoulder battery powered audio mixer of most durable construction. Notable features are three pairs of separate isolated line level outputs, sunlight viewable twin 20 element sector led array metering that is switchable VU/PPM and Pop-Up pots for secondary controls.
HX-3 The Sound Devices HX-3 battery powered Headphone Amplifier provides 3 very high quality isolated independent headphone outputs with individual gain controls from a balanced or unbalanced stereo line level source.
MixPre The Sound Devices MixPre is a fully featured 2 into 2 battery powered Mini-Mixer particularly aimed at the provision of all normal professional audio facilities: phantom powering slate mic, 1 kHz tone generator etc., in front of one of the current crop of prosumer DV cameras.
MM-1 The Sound Devices MM-1 is a transformer in/out battery powered Microphone Amplifier with built in headphone monitoring amplifier and features switchable bass cut, 12 or 48V phantom microphone power or T-power. Its line output driver makes it suitable for feeding very long cable runs.
