This is a high wind cover which offers significantly improved protection against wind noise compared with the WSVM windshield. It may be used with any of the Røde shotgun microphones - VideoMic, NTG1 or NTG2.
The PSM1 suspension is designed to minimise noise due to vibration transmission through the microphone mounting. It suits the Podcaster, K2, NTK, NT1-A, NT1000 microphones. The PSM1 mounts to both 3/8” and 5/8” thread mounts and includes M20 captive nut to mount the microphone
The SM3 is a shock mount designed to significantly reduce vibration transmission to all shotgun microphones. Perfect for the Røde NTG series. Features
a 4-way rubber suspension system with quick release tilt mechanism to aid directional positioning and avoid visual intrusion.
Usually, with the exception of mounting to a device such as a mic stand with a 5/8 x 27 thread, the SM3 shock-mount can be used. The SM4 is a shotgun microphone suspension shock mount with a stand mount adaptor, designed to significantly reduce vibration transmission to shotgun microphones. Features a 4-way rubber suspension with friction tilt mechanism to aid directional positioning. A three way mounting system with 1/4” x 20 and 3/8” x 16 internal threads, a 5/8” x 27 and a 3/8” to 5/8” thread adaptor for Tripod, Boom Pole and mic stand mounting. Accepts mics
approximately 19 - 25mm diameter. A shotgun microphone suspension shock mount for high end video cameras. The SM5 shock mount is designed specifically to fit Panasonic® and Sony® video cameras with clamp mounts. Features a 4-way rubber suspension with an integral Ø24mm and Ø27mm clamp mount adaptor. The SM5 incorporates a two way mounting system with 1/4" x 20 and 3/8" x 16 internal threads, for Tripod and Boom
Pole mounting. Suspension accepts mics approximately 19 - 25mm diameter. Note: this suspension has no tilt mechanism.
The Tripod is a collapsible mini-stand which attaches to the VideoMic via its shock mount 1/4" thread or any standard 1/4" threaded fitting.
A 3m (10'), 3.5mm stereo audio extension cable. 2 core shielded cable with gold plated jack and socket. Suitable for use in conjunction with the VideoMic. The VC1 extension cable can also be used with the VXLR for 3.5mm mini jack conversion to XLR input.
The VXLR is used to convert a mono 3.5mm mini-jackplug to a 3 pin XLR input. Suitable for use with the VideoMic and similar devices with a mono signal on 3.5mm mini-jackplug.
Foam windshield for use in light wind conditions on the VideoMic, NTG-1 and NTG-2. (Supplied as standard with these microphones.)
Basic mic clamp for stand mounting suitable for 22mm dia. microphones and supplied as standard with the NTG-1 and NTG-2.
The pole has a standard 3/8” male threaded fitting, suitable for use with Rode SM3, SM4, SM5, RM5 or Stereo VideoMic + any standard 3/8" female fitting. Collapsed length 0.84m (33in), fully extended 3m (9.8ft) Machined from high grade aluminium, the 3-section telescopic Mini Boompole is designed for applications where a more compact, 2m maximum extension, pole is required. The pole has a standard 3/8” male threaded fitting, suitable for use with Rode SM3, SM4, SM5, RM5 or Stereo Videomic + any standard 3/8" female fitting.
LTF XLR Mic Tail Female to male XLR mic cable using gold contact connectors and high quality, low-profile Canare Starquad cable for reliable low noise connection with minimal weight. Nominal length 0.5m (19.7in). Other lengths available to order.
Female XLR to right-angle 3.5mm stereo mini-jackplug using gold plated connectors for optimum reliability. Used for connecting professional and other microphones with male XLR connector to cameras with 3.5mm stereo jack input. Nominal length 0.5m (19.7in). Other lengths available to order.
