Lavaliere Windjammer
The Windjammer (Furry) is designed to be used on Lavaliere microphones worn on the outside of clothing.
To ensure a proper fit we have included an internal removable foam insert. The internal foam is designed to hold many other popular lavaliere microphones and to also provide the air space required to make the
Windjammer effective. Included are spare foams.
The fur covering is manufactured so that the opening can be stretched to accommodate the microphone and fit snugly around the cable.
In some instances,  you may prefer to use the windscreen that came with your Lavaliere microphone, then it is possible for the foam that we have supplied to be removed and the
Lavaliere foam or metal windscreen to be inserted into the Windjammer.
The Furry's come in three basic colours - Grey, Dark Grey & White. Please specify when you order which you prefer, otherwise you'll get Dark Grey as standard.
The following Lavaliere (lapel or personal) microphones can be used with the Rycote foam insert placed inside the Windjammer. To assemble, remove the
foam and push the microphone into the cross slit before replacing in the Windjammer.

Stickies, Undercovers and Overcovers for Lavaliere Microphones.
These are parts of the new disposable mounting and windshield systems for lavalier microphones.
Stickies
These form the base component of the mounting system and come supplied in packs, with 3 sheets of double-sided adhesive pads (10 pads per sheet - 30 pads total).
They are available separately and are supplied with the Undercovers or Overcovers shown below.
The mounting pads, are double-sided adhesive pads. The adhesive materials used have been sourced from the medical industry, and are suitable for use on both fabrics & skin
. The pads are simply peeled from a sheet, and pressed onto the skin or clothing. The top liner can then be peeled from the pad.
The microphone is then simply pressed onto the adhesive pad, and held in place with the adhesive coating. The two adhesive surfaces of the pads sandwich a soft fabric,
this prevents the mount from creaking when the mic is attached.
Undercovers
This is a fabric disk windshield soft enough to prevent clothes rustle and low level wind noise. The fabric disc is pressed over the microphone and the adhesive pad (left
picture below). The 1" diameter (25mm ) fabric disc windshields are made from an extremely soft woven fabric. Each pack is supplied with 30 Stickies and 3 colours of
fabric discs - 10 discs of each colour. The colours provided are white, grey & black.
For situations where the microphone is exposed to heavier wind noise the "Overcovers" should be used. The Overcovers work in exactly the same way (see right picture
above), but with a small fur disc as the windshield instead of fabric. The fur disc is pressed over the microphone and the adhesive pad. The 1" diameter (25mm ) fur disc
windshields are made from an extremely soft 3/8" (10mm) long fur. Each pack is supplied with 30 Stickies and 3 colours of fur discs - 2 discs of each colour. The
colours provided are white, grey & black.
