R-series Cable Reels Canare has developed a dependable and road worthy cable reel in three useful sizes that keeps cable stored neatly when not in use, yet allows quick deployment without tangles and twisting. A perfect way to facilitate transporting and laying cable. All R-Series models include a 3-position brake lever: Canare cable reels are constructed using tubular steel, with an “E” shaped brace design which makes them all extremely durable. They use heavy duty permanently lubricated bearings which will perform as new even after years of hard road use. All R300 series models have built in stacking tabs, so cable reels can be placed one on top of the other for secure transporting and storage. The R300L features a special removable recessed plate in the hub for mounting BNC, F, RCA, or XLR Panel receptacles. Connectors may also be fitted to the hub end plate. The R300S has a pre-drilled end plate for cable exit from the hub. Reels can be supplied pre-fitted with a range of cable and connector sets. Contact sales for details. Two cable reels specially suited to use with multicore audio and video cables. Both have an large cutout on the front flange for cable exit from the hub and are large enough to allow passage to most multipole connectors. Both reels incorporate four removable castors, two with brakes, for easy movement on site.

Audio Snake Systems Cable Reel Snake
This modular design approach allows simple and secure mating with standard Canare Snakes, Junction Boxes, Pigtails or other Cable Reel Snakes. Available in 8, 12, 16 and 24-channel capacities. Standard cable lengths are 30 metres and 50 metres.
Assembled with super flexible Canare L-4E3-P Star Quad multichannel audio cable, terminated at both ends with a MIL Spec JAE multipole connector. Dust caps with chain are included.

Snake System Connectors Canare 8, 12 and 16-channel systems use high quality JAE quick connect Acme thread coupling multipole connectors. The 24-channel systems use DDK MIL-C-5015 type screw ring locking connectors.

A unique and economical approach to multichannel cable
storage and system component integrating. Assembled with a durable R-Series Canare Cable Reel, built-in flange-mounted junction box, hardwired Star Quad L-4E3-P Multichannel audio cable and multipole female JAE
connector.
All versions are pre-assembled using Canare Star Quad L-4E microphone cable wired to ITT Cannon XLR-3 and
JAE multipole screw lock connectors. The overall fantail length is 1.5m and each channel is fitted with a large, sliding number collar ring for quick identification. Dust
cap with chain included on multipole connector.
Typically used at one or both ends of an audio snake. A
Canare Junction Box will accept single microphone or line level XLR-3 type cables. The black anodised chassis is constructed from thick gauge aluminium (4mm) which is
light weight but exceptionally strong. All panel mount receptacles are secured to the chassis with screws (not pop rivets), should service ever be necessary. Skid pads and multipole connector dust
caps with chain are included.
