Canare manufacture a range of precision coaxial cable connectors for 75ohm systems as well as standard audio connectors.
Canare offers a full line of high performance MIL-C-39012 true 75ohm BNC connectors with impedance matched performance characteristics and specifications that properly address the latest generations of high bandwidth digital video equipment. Importantly, Canare 75ohm BNC connectors offer excellent mechanical pull strength and very low digital signal reflections; Return loss better than 25dB (VSWR =1.1) DC to 2GHz. Canare BNC connectors employ several features for improved performance and handling. The body and finger grip area is elongated to allowing better grip action. The crimp sleeves are longer to provide a greater crimping surface area for improved cable pull strength. The gold plated contact pin “snap-locks” into place preventing pin migration and giving positive feedback during assembly. Beryllium copper outer contact and special nickel plated bell brass body ensure long service life.
Precision 75ohm BNC female cable jack. Fits LV-61S (RG-59B/U cable types). Centre contact is soldered with crimped sleeve (V75001). Use TCD-451CA or TCD-4CA crimp dies with TC-1 handle.
All 75ohm signals, once entered into a termination, must be fully converted into energy. If the impedance matching is not perfect, part of this energy will be reflected and poor Return Loss (VSWR) will result, especially at higher operating frequencies (i.e. computer graphics, digital video, etc.). Canare’s precision 75ohm BCP-TA, far exceeds (by 20 to 30 dB) other commercial terminations, even those rated at .1% tolerance. Careful attention to impedance
design detail makes this the first true 75ohm termination with the same VSWR performance found in test lab precision terminators costing far more. Jack to jack cable extension adaptor. Return loss 26dB or better, DC to 2GHz. (VSWR 1.1 or less)

Push-on boot for coaxial cable strain relief with crimp BNC connectors. Available in 10 matte colours to suit most Canare coaxial cable sizes.
BNC Panel (Bulkhead) Connectors
BCJ-JRU is a 75ohm BNC jack to jack (F-F) recessed panel connector with 21mm Dia. mounting hole and flange profile that matches Cannon F77 series compact XLR panel connectors. All recessed jacks have full electrical isolation from the outer shell and panel, eliminating crosstalk and grounding problems. BCJ-RU is the same except for rear solder terminals in place of the BNC jack.
Canare true 75ohm F connectors are impedance matched with excellent return loss characteristics and can easily handle RF broadband multimedia networks to 1GHz and beyond. Will mate with approved ANSI/SCTE standard F receptacles. These high reliability connectors feature electromechanically stable nickel plated brass bodies, high quality tapped threads, extra wide torque nut, gold crimp pin and extra long crimp sleeve for increased cable grip and pull resistance. Canare’s FP-C plugs are very quick to install using the same strip and crimp tools as the BNC (and RCA) series plugs..
75ohm F standoff jack to jack (F-F) connector. Uses standard “Double D” profile panel cutout and may be used with IU-7/16 isolation bushings.
Recessed flush mount bulkhead F jack. Mounts in the same hole punchout as other flush mount jacks (21mm dia.). Jack body is totally isolated from connector shell and panel. Return Loss 26dB or better from DC to 2GHz.
All RCAP connectors utilise the same high-quality gold pins & sleeves found in Canare’s most popular 75ohm BNC crimp plug series. This special design feature permits 100% compatibility with the standard Canare hand tool, die sets and award winning “15 Second Quick” TS coaxial cable strippers.
RCA Standoff Connector.
RJ-BCJR is a true 75ohm RCA (Phono) to BNC jack connector with standard “Double D” mounting. May be used with IU-7/16
isolation bushings (supplied seperately). Offers low return loss of better than 26dB, DC to 100MHz.
Two very high quality connectors for audio applications. Both plugs feature full gold plated plug contacts and spring strain relief. The F-10 has a sturdy crimpable cable grip perfectly suited to use with LV-61S coaxial, L-2T2S screened twin or L-4E6S starquad cables. The handles are nickel plated bell brass with a specially designed knurled surface to prevent finger slippage. The F-09 features an extra narrow profile to suit high density panels.
Canare audio jackplugs are carefully designed to accommodate large cable diameters (up to 6mm with strain relief spring, 7.5mm without) and offer large soldering area for easy assembly, good electromechanical characteristics and super performance and
long life durability. 1/4” jackplugs use a patented “V-Lock” system that ensures good electrical contact by keeping inserted plugs tight where others would pull out. |
