Envoy
Specifically designed for ENG use, Audio's Envoy makes rival systems look like yesterday's news. The system sports a range of features that far exceed those of any similar ENG product.
Envoy CXiR
The smallest true diversity receiver in the world eliminates all mechanical switching by utilising an infra red remote control. The CXiR is designed to slot neatly into the latest di gital cameras - including Sony SX, Philips LDK120, Panasonic and Ikegami HLV77.
Once fitted to a camera, LED indicators allow you to determine the status of the receiver. No more losing important news stories because of unexpected signal loss. You can always see if you have a
signal and enough TX battery power.
It also features 32 switchable UHF frequency channels, all settable from the SwitchiR infra red remote. This ensures that you'll always
have a greater chance of finding a channel that's free from local interference.
You can even use the CXiR as a stand-alone receiver by employing a six pin Lemo adapter, which can be used with those cameras that don't have a dedicated slot for a receiver.
The Envoy system employs the same acclaimed technology as Audio products designed for location sound recording applications. As such, it's undoubtedly the most advanced, most reliable ENG system money can buy.
Envoy MXiR
The latest addition to the unique infrared controlled Envoy range of r adio microphone systems for ENG. It is a compact battery powered, standard UHF receiver for use in applications where a diversity receiver is not required, but the
audio still needs to be of the highest quality.
The receiver can have up to 32 pre-programmed frequencies in the UHF band, from 470-900 MHz. A switching bandwidth of up to 24 MHz is possible. All the user functions on the MXiR are controlled via the unique
infrared SwitchiR, or via the free software applications for either the PC or Palm compatible PDA.
The MXiR is fully compatible with all UHF transmitters from the Envoy, RMS 2020 and RMS 2000 range.
Envoy SwitchiR
Despite being the size of a key fob, the unique SwitchiR infra red remote controller unit will access all the user settable functions of the CXiR unit. With just four buttons, an LCD
display and a simple menu system, you have full control over every convenient feature. Functions include:
- Frequency check and change
- Audio level - output level on CXiR - check and change
- Battery status of receiver/transmitter
- Battery status of SwitchiR
- Check 6LR61 type 9V batteries
- Check serial number of unit
- Check user identification
- Infra red disable
- Turn off transmitter
The SwitchiR, when combined with the CXiR and MXiR units, adds up to one of the most simple-to-use, yet versatile, high quality audio systems on the market
Envoy TXiR
This transmitter comes fitted with 32 frequencies custom-programmed in groups of eight to take the guesswork out of frequency coordination. The TXiR transmitter’s infra-red port allows the SwitchiR to view and control:
- Frequency
- Battery status
- Turn on/off transmitter
- Microphone gain
- Serial number information
- And more
The brand new battery compartment is designed to accommodate 6LR61 type 9V batteries via a self adjusting contact plate.
Equally-spaced channels can lead to intermodulation problems, or ‘birdies’ on the sound. The Envoy TXiR transmitter comes fitted with up to 32 frequencies, custom-programmed
in groups of frequencies to suit your needs whatever your location. At just 115 g and 89 mm x 60 mm x 21 mm, the TXiR is compact, lightweight and robust. The aluminium
extruded case is hard-anodised and ano-printed with all the information you need out in the field.
